Living With One Painting Over Time

Living With One Painting Over Time

Art reveals itself slowly.

The longer a painting is lived with, the more it enters daily life — becoming part of a room’s rhythm rather than an object to be assessed. What first draws attention often recedes, and quieter qualities begin to surface.

This is why I think of my work as something to live with rather than look at once. The paintings are designed to hold space over time, offering steadiness rather than spectacle.

Living with one painting allows it to change alongside the viewer. Its meaning is not fixed, but accumulates gently through presence.
