I've always been fascinated by the sea's ability to hold both peace and extraordinary power.

Standing on the shoreline, there are moments when a single wave rises above all the others. For just an instant, it seems to carry every ounce of the ocean's energy before breaking free in an explosion of light, movement and spray. It's impossible not to feel something in that moment.

When I painted Unbound, I wasn't thinking only about the sea. I was thinking about those moments in our own lives when we find the courage to move beyond what has held us back. The sea reminds me that strength doesn't have to be rigid. It can be fluid, instinctive and beautifully alive.

My hope is that Unbound brings both energy and optimism into the home—a painting that encourages you to embrace change, trust your own strength and remember that some of life's most beautiful moments begin the instant we allow ourselves to be completely free.
