Veil of Light was inspired by those fleeting moments.
Rather than capturing a specific coastline, the painting explores the quiet atmosphere created when light settles gently across the ocean, transforming movement into stillness and distance into calm. Built slowly through layers of oil paint, it invites the viewer to pause, breathe and lose themselves within its luminous depths.

I have always been fascinated by those rare moments when the sea seems to disappear into light. The horizon softens, colours dissolve and everything becomes quieter. There is a feeling of complete stillness that lasts only a few moments before the wind changes and the world returns again.
Veil of Light is my attempt to preserve that feeling—a reminder that beauty often reveals itself most gently when we slow down enough to notice it.
