What medium do you use?

I paint mostly in oil paint. I use a variety of brands from Windsor & Newton to Daler Rowney. All paint is high quality oils.

I also use Liquin or refined Linseed oil as oil mediums.

What sizes are your paintings?

The sizes vary and exact sizes can be found on each of the listings description.

If you want one of my existing paintings but the size is not the right size for you, please contact me as we can do a commission painting.

Commission paintings can be any size and will be discussed in our initial consultation.

What is the difference between an Original and a print?

An original means that the painting is the first and only true version of that painting. You will be able to see brush strokes, feel the texture and get a true sense of the original artwork.

A print is a copy of this painting. I offer fine art prints on paper and on canvas. The prints are high quality and look so similar to the original, however they will not have any texture as they are copies.

Commissions

What is a commission?

A commission is when you- the client, asks an artist to create a painting. You get to choose the colours, size and style.

How much are commissions?

The price for commission paintings vary. I will take into account the folllowing when pricing:

  • Size of canvas
  • Style
  • Layer of paint
  • Amount of paint
  • Time
  • Framing
  • Postage & packaging

The price should not be too far from existing pieces but price will be agreed on the initial consultation.

How does it work?

Contact me through my commissions page or contact page and I will be in touch. We will discuss what you are looing for and take it from there.

There is no obligation after our first conversation so you can take time to think over everything we have discussed.

What is your lead time?

Lead time is how long it will take to complete your order. This will vary due to workload. At the moment the lead time is 4-6 weeks for completion.

Can you guide me on what might suit my space?

Of course! I will be more than happy to advise on colours, sizes and styles as well as framing.

Does it arrive ready to hang?

Yes. Whether you choose to have a framed canvas or unframed canvas it will be ready for your wall.

Shipping

When will my order Ship?

All prints, on paper or canvas will be shipped within 7-10 working days of purchase.

All original artwork will usually be shipped within 5 working days.
